IMPACT OF GLOBALIZATION ON VIETNAM’S TRADITIONAL CULTURE VALUE TODAY
Abstract
The issue of globalization is putting us in front of great opportunities and challenges in all fields of social life, especially in the field of culture, which includes traditional moral values. The issue of protecting traditional values and national identity is increasingly becoming a particularly important issue in the integration process and is considered a content of national independence and national security. Besides absorbing advanced cultural values from countries around the world, Vietnam also has to face many toxic cultural values. Moreover, when globalization is carried out, there are traditional national cultural values that are no longer suitable or go against the development process of the country. At the same time, our Party is well aware that globalization has both positive and negative sides, cooperation, struggle, cooperation for development and a very complex struggle, especially the struggles of developing countries to protect our interests for a just international order, against the unreasonable impositions of economic powers and transnational companies.
