Abstract
In the current context, when the country is facing many challenges both domestically and internationally, therefore developing a solid political and ideological foundation for soldiers is an urgent requirement. Especially in schools of the Vietnam People’s Army, where cadres and soldiers are trained to serve the cause of defending the Fatherland, political education and ideological orientation play an even more important role. The teaching staff in military schools are not only those who teach professional knowledge but also those who directly participate in the process of political and ideological orientation for students, helping them imbue with revolutionary ideals, strengthen their faith in the Party, in the socialist regime and clearly understand the responsibility to protect the Fatherland
