RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN PARENTS AND CHILDREN IN THE FAMILY OF GIAY PEOPLE IN BAN QUA COMMUNITY, BAT XAT DISTRICT, LAO CAI PROVINCE

Abstract

Due to the increasingly profound influence of the integration and development process, so family relationships, especially between parents and children are changing strongly in many aspects such as spending time taking care of children, nurturing, affectionate; issues of investment in education and career orientation for children; ethical relationships, teaching cultural values,... To understand the change in this relationship of ethnic groups, especially the Giay people in Ban Qua commune, Bat Xat district, Lao Cai province - the community was studied. The article deeply analyzes the current status of the relationship between parents and children, thereby contributing to identifying development trends, influencing factors and issues raised about the relationships between parents and children to have appropriate policies in the field of family in border mountainous areas in the current context.
