LOCAL GOVERNANCE IN THE CONTEXT OF DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION IN VIETNAM NOW

Abstract

Digital transformation in national governance has become an inevitable trend of countries around the world. For Vietnam, digital transformation is one of the Government's top concerns in the Industrial Revolution 4.0. In fact, Vietnam is one of the first countries in the world to issue a National Digital Transformation Strategy, making Vietnam to be a country with digital transformation awareness in parallel with advanced countries in the world. Thereby, state governance in general and local governance in particular associated with digital transformation has changed the perception of the country's leaders, especially at the local level, contributing to improving the quality of governance in all aspects of Vietnamese localities in new conditions.
